What is a limited partnership
A limited partnership is an organization with legal personality formed
- by one or more general partners and one or more limited partners under a partnership agreement.
- In principle, the general partner is the person who actually conducts the business and has unlimited liability for the debts of the limited partnership, while the limited partner is not actually involved in the business and is only responsible for the limited partnership to the extent of his or her capital contribution.
